Intellius Inc, a Bellevue, Washington based online service provider, was founded by Naveen Jain, one of the most prominent personalities in the Information commerce arena. This Indian born entrepreneur is notable for the number of accomplishments he was able to achieve in both fields of business and philanthropy.
His second venture, Intellius was founded in January 2003, approximately a year after he had turned over his position at his first company, InfoSpace. Along with other visionaries, Jain was able to steer Intellius into the path of success. His efforts to constantly inject new ideas and innovation to the company have earned him a lot of accolades. For his exemplary leadership skills, Jain was able to garner both for Intellius and himself several awards including the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, the Albert Einstein Technology Medal, the WSA Industry Achievement Award, and the American Business’ Best New Company Award.
Aside from all the attention both Jain and Intellius are getting from the business world, the group is also noted for their philanthropic endeavors in a variety of organizations advocating causes that range from promoting education to mitigating hunger.
