Monthly Budgeting Can Be Hard

Filed under: Money + Finance, Web Of Self Improvement — admin at 10:25 pm on Monday, February 22, 2010

I have always been behind on my monthly budget with frequent monthly bill and unpredicted expenses. As soon as I got my paycheck, it was already spent. I got a lot of bills every month and put them off to the last minute, then dealt with them all in a hurry. As a result I ended up taking over money from the next paycheck just to make it through. The problem was not related to how much money I made, it’s that I didn’t know how to manage my budget. Worse yet, any emergency left me even further in debt.

Most of us have been in this situation. We try to be cautious with our expenditure and be careful with our money, but long before month-end, the money is spent. Paying bills is a juggling act that we don’t have the time or energy to handle. There’s always one bill that was unnoticed or delayed, one more expenditure we weren’t organized for. With school supplies and fees for the kids, groceries, new tyres for the car, and the raising cost of petrol, just making it from paycheck to paycheck is hard enough; saving money is out of the question. Meanwhile, debt is quietly piling up. How can I get my budget under control?

I was lucky to have found a service which will help me budget my money more wisely and take away the stress of paying off monthly bills, letting me focus on the things that really matter to my family. No more worrying over where the money will come from; I can finally relax, knowing that my finances are in good hands.

How financial planning services work:
Usually during your first consultation, your budget consultant will evaluate all of your present debts and monthly payments and devise a program that works for you. They will set aside money for savings, emergencies, and long term investment, ensuring your family’s financial security. If you are planning a major purchase, this will be forecasted into your budget so that when you are ready to buy, the money will be there for you.

Your paychecks are typically deposited to your financial planner, and a separate account is set up for your living expenses. Your bills are directly delivered to your budgeting consultant for payment. Some budget services will even negotiate with your creditors to reduce your monthly payments and reduce your outstanding debt. A small monthly fee is assessed for all these services.

For me, the best monthly service my budget consultant provides is peace of mind. I don’t have to worry about paying any bills; I know my bills will be paid on time, and that I’ll have money in reserve for life’s little emergencies. My budget is finally under control, thanks to my financial planning service.

My Journey to Regaining Confidence

Filed under: Health Improvement, To Be A Beaut, Web Of Self Improvement — admin at 8:50 am on Wednesday, September 9, 2009

My hair loss treatment journey begun the day I started to notice myself balding. I would spend hours and hours looking for ways to comb my hair a certain way to conceal my hair loss. I discovered myself wearing more caps on the weekends as I went out with my wife, acquaintances or family. Walking in to work every morning without my hat was an unpleasant experience. You change the way you think when you are suffering from hair loss. It is so true that you never know what you have until you lose it. That can be accurate about your hair loss.

Having suffered from hair loss, I started to treasure every strand of hair that I had left. It was as if with each string of hair I lost, so was a small part of my confidence gone as well. A mate of mine had the same problem as me. I noticed lately that he seemed so much more relaxed and it looks as though his hair was growing back. I didn’t wanted to bring it up but after a while I decided to ask. It was then that he told me about Advanced Hair Studio. With just a few treatments my friend John had not only regained his hair, but his self-assurance as well. After seeing what Josh has accomplished from Advanced Hair, I made up my mind to pay them a visit.

I have to admit that I was a little wary at first. Effects were apparent within a few weeks. Not only on my head, but in my behaviour. I began feeling better about myself and started to lose the caps on the weekends. My wife has also discovered a change in my day to day attitude as well. It is amazing how just a few trips to the Advanced Hair Studio had begun to change my life as a whole. I have always been wary about people noticing my bald spot. Now, I am not concerned to look people in the eyes again as I have my full set of hair back.

Advance Hair Studio has not only given me back a full set of hair, but a big chunk of my life as well. If you are suffering from hair loss I highly recommend them as it has done so much for me in just a few months of treatments. Don’t let your self-confidence continue to be lost with your hair.

How to Groom Your Displays for Your Consultant Interviews

Filed under: Business Opps, Education Special, Web Of Self Improvement — admin at 2:13 pm on Monday, July 20, 2009

KISS: Keep it short and simple

A few central thoughts that are substantially explained will come across more clearly than a lot of text contrived to impress the audience. Your interviewers do not have the time to analyse the information as you deliver it.

The rule of three

Virtually all people can’t call up more than 3 items at one time. Many memorable quotes come in 3 parts: Veni, Vedi, Vici, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Education, Education, Education,
Ready, Steady, Go, etc.

If viable, organize your presentation in 3 bigprincipalcentralfundamental themes (one per slide). On each slide, tryseekendeavorendeavourattempt to focuscentercentre on three3 keycentralprincipalimportantessentialfundamentalbigprimarymain ideas. If you have too many pointsaimsitemsdetails on one page, you may want to breakchunk them down in two2 different more focussedcentredconcentratedcenteredfocused themestopicsideasstemsstreamsconcepts to break upseparatesplit upfragmentbreak downsplit up the messagecontentsubject mattersubstance ininto more digestible chunks

Rule of three3 applied to a presentation on the critical appraisal of your career so far:

THEME 1 - Presentation of Experience
Career progression & Exams taken;
Important skills and expertise acquired;
Involvement in academic activities.

THEME 2 - Demonstration of commitment to speciality and self development
Cours es and conferences attended;
Special interests developed;
Initiative taken in developing services and improving standards.

THEME 3 - Areas where further development is needed
Great emphasis on teaching; want to enhance research portfolio;
Keen to enhance further teaching experience (Med Ed. Degree);
Solid experience of endoscopy; further training required for possible
subspecialisation.

Visual aids

In mostwell-nigh allnearly allvirtually allalmost all interviews, the nature of the visual aids will be imposed. This could include:

No visual aids at all
A4 white paper sheets
Acetates
Electronic (e.g. on USB chip or CD Rom)

Identify the requirements before you start as it may dictate the manner in which you organise your ideas.

EnsureDetermineAscertainCheckVerifySuss Out too that you have sufficientadequatedecentenough back-up. For example:

if they asked for paper presentation slides, bring a copy for eacheveryevery last interviewerinterview panel member (they might say that they will photocopy them for you but the machine might break downfailcrumplesnuff itconkkick the bucket that day!) if they ask for a USB chip, bring two chips (and possibly even a CD version) whatever they ask, always bring a few paper versions in casejust in case everything has gone wrongbaddefectivefaulty, or in casejust in case they deliberatelyintentionallypurposelyby designby choiceon purposedesignedly make your life difficult.

Composing the Perfect Resume

Filed under: Web Of Self Improvement — admin at 2:11 pm on Wednesday, July 8, 2009

A resume presents the applicant to the future employer. It makes the first impression on the prospective employer on the job applicant’s accomplishments, qualification, certifications and work experience. Thus, a professionally well-written and well-composed curriculum vitae can often assist in securing an interview with the prospective employer.

While writing a resume, the focal point must be on the prerequisites of the business and your capacity to fit in the position offered. The CV should be written by blending the candidate’s skill sets and experience with the needs of the business. It is writing about how you can fulfill the needs of the specific opening in the company.

There are some misconceptions about resume writing that requires clearing up. Trying to stand out among other people by making the curriculum vitae spectacular will not serve the purpose. The CV should not be something unusual, unique or tricky. However, if the facts are organised in a professional way, outlining items applicable to the role’s essentials, it will definitely impress the recruiter to invite the applicant for a first interview.

The all-important objective of a CV is to introduce the candidate and present the skill sets, qualification, experience and credentials of the individual so that the employment manager is impressed enough to call him for a face-to-face interview. The resume should only incorporate information, which is applicable to company’s requirements. This may include the experience of the candidate, which is good for the job opening. Avoid composing a long description of your past job experiences.

A good, well-designed CV is the key to opening the exact doors to the good chance in the job hunting process.

Achieve Your Greatest Expectations with the Dallas Relationship Reality

Filed under: Dates, Hints, Web Of Self Improvement — admin at 9:46 pm on Thursday, June 25, 2009

Usually, I hate to say it, because its hard to date at my age. Get this, yesterday I broke my resolution and smoked two packs of cigarettes. To ease the pain of loneliness, for once. Don’t judge me (j/k!). Is that even legal? Actually, that’s the moment when I first considered joining a dating service in Denver or Dallas.

I already knew the solution. I’ll ease back into dating at a matchmaking service like Great Expectations Dallas. Definitely turned out to be my golden ticket. The reason I mention my dating woes: I was at my boy’s t-ball game in Dallas two weeks ago, great aunt Judy asked me if I’ve found my true love. They sure have nerve. My response was, “that’s none of your business.”

Can you believe that even Cousin Terry continued harping about true relationships. I said to each of them: “I’ll be fine, I’ll never find a gorgeous single woman hanging out with you.”

Guess what? Everyone looked away and giggled. Shortly after, I called Dave to put my dating woes behind me. That didn’t help! I would have learned more by asking my son. Doug, who was a fellow Ram in high school (go Rams!) suggested that I enroll in Great Expectations. I said, “That’s what I was going to do.” But it really was a good idea. I love this dating service full of fun and desirable Dallas singles.

When I started, meeting new singles through dating services was a novel thing because I’m a traditionalist of sorts. I was a bit nervous at first, that my hands started sweating. My emotional anxiety could not put an end to another incredible Great Expectations event. The evening was full of crazy-fun mingling. The host was incredible and I’ll always remember the attractive, single women.

Afterwards, I realized why so many people show up to these incredibley satisfying Great Expectations Denver singles events, I bumped into a collection of dynamite friends that obviously feel as excited as I am for how dating should be done. Now I can stop letting anyone give their two cents about being single. Wonderfully enough, mingling with Great Expectations is a lot of fun and just what I’ve been looking for.

A Honest Wig Tale

Filed under: Health Improvement, To Be A Beaut, Web Of Self Improvement — admin at 12:18 am on Friday, June 19, 2009

You know, well-crafted wigs were not something I was familiar with. Modeling was what I thought about every day. That was true till two years ago when my hair wouldn’t be the same due to medical hair loss. I decided that I shouldn’t permit the outcome of appearing on TV as a bald version of Demi Moore due to unfortunate genetics.

I thought that I’d lost myself, robbed of a real head of hair. I resigned that there was nothing I could do to recover full style. Buddy, was I foolish. Before I got my authentic wig, I found a wide array of hot synthetic hair weaves that didn’t match my scalp. My soulmate Reginald told me about a few medical wig stores offering lace front wigs I could wear proudly.

Not wasting any time, I walked to the store and checked it out. I found myself browsing a cornucopia of astonishing, practical lace front wigs. Their breathable African American wigs suited me best.

Trying on the perfect hair piece, a girl like me may very well grow confidence working towards admitting to her alopecia. Never have I been so inspired to display my fashionable golden locks. It was glorious to sassily go about as I used to on the job.

But maybe I’m being ridiculous carrying on like this, but looks are important to my career. Is there further to life than a fabulous style of hair? Heck, it doesn’t matter if someone told me otherwise. Its true, medical wigs offer an important option for stylish ladies who can relate.

You would not believe what my loved ones have been like. Only close friends and family know about me and my thinning hair. But that’s life, I’m simply glad to look fabulous for my husband again. Having hair again made so much better for me and everyone who depends on me.

Many might determine this approach is silly. They’re wrong. How is life so practical? For me, I adore my family and my new wigs.

The 7 Simple Steps To Harnessing Your Creative Power And Achieving Incredible Success

Filed under: Web Of Self Improvement — admin at 9:11 pm on Friday, June 13, 2008

Let me repeat what I believe is the most powerful and
fundamental knowledge available to man:

“YOU CAN CREATE ANY ACTUAL PHYSICAL
REALITY YOU WANT THROUGH THE INTENSE
DESIRE, BELIEF AND PERSISTENCE OF YOUR MIND”

Your desire for success brought this knowledge to you at
this very moment, there is no doubt of that. But do you
know how to harness it? To wield the power it makes
available?

Every great man and woman to ever walk the Earth harnessed
this knowledge and wielded a power that allowed them to
exceed the limitations of regular humanity.

But if the power of creation is available to all of us, why
is it only a small few ever achieve greatness?

Because only a few know how to harness this knowledge and
wield the incredible power it makes available.

Do you know how? No?

Well listen up because you’re about to learn.

The information contained in the rest of this article has
the power to change your life forever….

The 7 Steps To Harnessing Your Creative Power And Achieving
incredible Success

Follow the 7 steps to the letter and I GUARANTEE, your
success will exceed the limitations of regular humanity.

Are you ready? Here we go:

STEP 1: Decide exactly what or how much money you want, not just “a lot” or “heaps”. For example my present goal is
$69,300/month. It doesn’t have to be money here, it can be
anything you desire.

And who knows, perhaps by the time you read this article I
have already exceeded this goal and set a new one. Notice my goal is specific.

STEP 2: Decide exactly what your willing to give in order to
achieve your dreams; as in time, money and effort.

STEP 3: Decide on a specific date for achieving your goal.
Month and year.

STEP 4: Decide on a specific plan. You must have a plan,
without one you cannot TAKE ACTION.
http://007WorkFromHome.com is a great place to start your education.

STEP 5: (IMPORTANT) Write a clear “Promise” of:

-the amount of money you will make
-the time limit for getting it
-what you intend to give in order to get it
-and the plan by which you aim to get it

STEP 6: (MOST IMPORTANT) read your “Promise” aloud twice a
day. Once after getting up and once before going to bed. As
you read it - see, feel and believe yourself already making
that money using the plan you have chosen.

STEP 7: For 1 minute after reading your “Promise” (or longer
if you can) close your eyes and see yourself following your
plan and the money actually already in your possession as a
result.

Mix it with strong emotion; excitement, happiness, sense of
achievement, self-admiration. The stronger the emotional
cocktail the more potent your success will be.

That’s it. I have just put into your hands the magic to
create anything you ever dreamed of.

But remember, if you want to succeed you must have a plan.
Do you have a plan?

Please follow all 7 steps I outlined above, they are not
nonsense, but an incredibly potent process.

I VERY SERIOUSLY want you to be successful and happy beyond
your wildest dreams.

I know you can do it!

Thought Manifestation

Filed under: Web Of Self Improvement — admin at 11:42 pm on Friday, May 23, 2008

The universe just conspired to remind me of a valuable lesson.

Last night, before retiring, I was trying to think of a
marketing promotion for Mystic Warrior, something that would
emphasize the overwhelmingly positive response I’ve received
from readers. Out of thousands of readers, not a single person
had taken me up on my unconditional money-back guarantee.

The image that came to me was that of the lonely Maytag
repairman, whose products were so reliable that no one ever had
a problem. Every time the phone rang, the repairman would grab
it hoping that it would be a complaint.

I thought to myself, “what if I write about a fictitious reader
that returned a book, drawing attention to this exception?”

I dismissed the idea as untruthful. Fortunately, I had no
“unhappy readers.”

Meetings occupied me the next morning. After returning to my
office after lunch, I discovered an unhappy reader had emailed
me!

My fleeting thought had manifested in less than 12 hours.

The principle that was demonstrated is a basic one. It comes in
several flavors:

“Whatever you think about expands.” “You are what you think.”
“Be careful what you wish for-you might get it.”

These are all applications of the Law of Attraction or Like
attracts Like. Everything is energy; everything has its own
unique frequency. You automatically attract energies of a
similar frequency. The energy of a thought will attract similar
energies to it. I was familiar with these principles, which form
the basis of many mystic visualization exercises. (See 3 Steps
to Manifesting Your Ideal Life.)

What surprised me was not that my thought manifested or that it
did so quickly. Thoughts can sometimes manifest instantly.
Neither was it that so little time had been spent thinking this
particular thought. What was shocking was that I had manifested
a NEGATIVE outcome, by reflecting on a very POSITIVE situation.

That was my lesson.

Even though my conscious mind was hearing positive thoughts,
such as “there has not been a single unhappy reader,” it’s a
different story for the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind
doesn’t know the difference between positive or negative
thoughts.

The words “no, never, not” have no meaning for the subconscious
mind!

What my subconscious mind heard was “blah blah blah, unhappy
reader.” It didn’t matter that there weren’t any; all it heard
was the focus of my thought. Then in less than 12 hours, an
unhappy reader manifested to demonstrate the principle to me.

It was as if a huge, delicious donut was staring me in the face,
which was so big it didn’t have a hole. But instead of looking
at the plump donut, I was thinking, “this donut has NO hole.”
The universe heard me and quickly manifested a hole.

You may have heard the adage, “don’t focus on what you don’t
want, focus on what you do want.” This is a good way of ensuring
that you stay positive and avoid the negative. But this is still
not good enough. You have to phrase your desire so that there
are only positive elements in it. Otherwise your subconscious
mind will misinterpret what you’re saying.

For example, let’s say you suffer from headaches. You might be
content to be “pain-free.” Desiring this outcome is not going to
help. You should strive to be healthy and clear headed.

In other words, you should choose to:

Be healthy, not pain-free. Be pro-peace, not anti-war. Be sober,
not anti-drug. Be pro-environment, not anti-pollution. Be
wealthy, not debt-free.

When you incorporate this principle into your thoughts and words
and state them clearly, the universe will conspire to make them
come true.

The Executive Coaching Contract

Filed under: Web Of Self Improvement — admin at 11:12 am on Tuesday, April 1, 2008

Having found a coach you feel comfortable and excited about working with, the next step is to discuss and sign the coaching contract or agreement. This is vital to ensure that both coach and client are clear from the outset about what is expected.

The coaching contract will set out the duration of the coaching, and the frequency and length of the sessions within that period. It will make clear the etiquette of the coaching relationship - for example, what each party should do if they need to reschedule appointments. The contract will suggest what needs to be done between sessions in order for agreed goals to be achieved, and the availability of the coach between sessions.

There will be guidelines regarding what is required from the coaching relationship in order for optimum results to be achieved. The coach needs honest feedback from the client about how well the coaching is working - different people may need different approaches. Equally, the client must be able to take on board frank feedback from the coach if they are to move forward past existing blocks.

The contract will emphasise that everything discussed during coaching is confidential and will not be revealed by the coach or used for the coach’s own personal gain.

The payment structure will be clearly set out, including the frequency of payments, which are normally requested in advance.

The beauty of the coaching contract is that having discussed and agreed the practicalities before coaching starts, both parties are free during the sessions to concentrate purely on the client’s goals and ways to achieve them.
